1. Physical Wellness at Work
The gold standard for a corporate wellness program is something that addresses the physical health and wellness of your employees.
That could mean offering a free or discounted gym membership, organizing a walking group at lunch times, or bringing in a nutritionist to help employees reach and maintain optimum health.
In-office massage programs also provide a wellness service that can reduce injuries or muscle knots, and can also speed up recovery from an old injury.
2. Mental Health Support at Work
Through the use of Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs), more companies are offering a variety of mental health services to their employees.
Usana Health Sciences has seen success with their employee stress management program, which includes a big emphasis on mental and emotional health. They offer employees a 6-week stress management program, comprised of a lecture series and stress management techniques.
3. Financial Wellness Services for Employees
In addition to mental and physical wellness, companies can offer employees resources in financial wellness too. Since so much stress can come from financial issues, offering financial services and support can go a long way to keeping employees happy.
Some common financial wellness services include understanding investments, how to maximize their 401(k), and planning for retirement.
