Define: Nivati
In Sanskrit, “Nivati” can be broken down into two parts:
- “Ni” generally means “within” or “inward”
- “Vati” is derived from the root verb “va” , meaning “to move”
This aligns beautifully with the mental health and wellbeing focus of Nivati, suggesting a sense of moving inward and calming the mind.

The History of Nivati
In 2010, Amelia Wilcox started her first corporate wellness company, Incorporate Massage. She grew her massage practice from her home to hiring thousands of massage therapists that served 1.2 million employees. In 2020, Amelia started Nivati with an expanded view of employee wellbeing, linking employee wellness and mental health in one solution. Nivati provides holistic mental health programs for employees.
